Your Portfolio in Focus: Submissions Are Now Open

Your portfolio shows what you have made. But there's often much more to the story than what a few screens can tell.
The decisions, the process, the challenges, and the thinking behind every project deserve to be seen and heard.
That's the idea behind Portfolio in Focus, a special feature we're introducing at Purple Circle V3, hosted by Think Purple in Pokhara on November 28–29, 2026.

More than just a portfolio submission
Portfolio in Focus is an opportunity for designers to take their work beyond a portfolio link and present it in person.
We're inviting designers from across Nepal to submit their portfolios, case studies, or other relevant design work for jury review. From all submissions, seven designers will be shortlisted, and the top three will be announced on the conference day to present their work live on stage.
Each of the three selected designers will have five minutes to walk the audience through their work, share the thinking behind their decisions, and tell the story of how their projects came together.
It's not just about showcasing the final outcome. It's about giving people a closer look at the person, perspective, and process behind the work.

Put your work in focus
Whether you're an early-career designer, an independent creative, or an experienced practitioner, this is an opportunity to share something you're proud of.
You don't need to have a perfect portfolio. What matters is having meaningful work, ideas, or projects that you're excited to talk about.
We want to see the thinking behind the pixels, the decisions that shaped your projects, and the perspectives that make your work yours.

Have a portfolio or case study you'd like to share?
Submit your portfolio for jury review through our application form. Seven designers will be shortlisted, with three selected to present their work at Purple Circle V3.
